I bought this mainly because it came with a 2m cable, which saved a few mouse clicks when placing the order.
It is now in service in an old PIII '98 machine to allow that machine to share an internet connection from my AirPort enabled MacBook. Installed into an ancient 133MHz Pentium box running Slackware Linux without a problem. Supported by the native Linux driver and 100Mbps data transfers observed.
A quality and cost-effective product that I can thoroughly recommend to those looking for a NIC card for an old and/or Linux-running system.

Opened the case, plugged it in, started up and was connected in about 5 minutes. Xp detects it and automatically installs, other op systems need the disk. Operates at 100Mbs, works great and has the facility for Wake on Lan. Can't fault it.
