Does what it says on the box! Enables a domestic TV to be used as a monitor for your MacBook. By connecting it to the input of a DVD recorder, I used it to make a DVD of a BBC iPlayer programme which was about to expire.
Rating: - Cheaper from Apple!
After unsuccessfully trying to buy this very item from Amazon, and getting the wrong adapter, I went and bought it from Apple, where I got it brand-new including postage for just over £15
